I’m one of 21 creatives that were asked to create an artwork to promote the opening of the first Apple Store in Milan.
This is my illo inspired by the question “What are you doing tomorrow Milan?”. It’s all about what the bustling minds of Milanese people are thinking.
I was also invited to do a live performance at the Apple Store opening and to lecture at Today at Apple. You can check them going to my website section “Specials” .
I was invited to do a live performance during the launch day of the new store in Milan, Italy. The idea I had was to create a performance based on “First Times” because this one was the first time that an Apple Store opened Milan. The customers were asked to share some first-time experiences answering questions like: “Where have you been the frst time abroad ? What was your first exotic food? Who was your first idol?” and so on. After the collection of these answers I produced a colorful artwork based on this interaction with the public.
I was invited to conduct one of the workshops from the “Today at Apple” series, where I lectured participants about my work and shared with them funny stories and insights about my experience working as illustrator. Then we started working on synthesis and semiotics of object to draw.
New new new Eolo campaign! Made together with the lovely team of Dude frames, FM Photographers and with my precious assistant Francesca Riz who always backs me up! As always thanks to 2DM Management!
Imagining the YOOX Land for notebooks and stickers for YOOX .
I partnered again with the the director and animator Lorenzo Fonda to create a series of animations for fashion e-commerce Yoox website and social media. The client gave us carte blanche on coming up with ideas, as long as they referred to products they sell.
Notebooks illustrations made for YOOX were also used for the launch of their on-line platform in China.
Last year Airbnb asked me to work on this fun map for their socials campaign. So this is my personal take on the most wishlisted Airbnbs in the U.S.

Happy to finally share this campaign I did earlier this year for The New York Times Crossword. Since a couple of years I’ve been working side by side with the lovely New York Times Crosswords Team and this is the latest campaign we did together. There are more members of the family coming which I’ll post soon on my website. As usual, Lorenzo Fonda’s animations sparked life to all of my characters!
The link with the NYTimes Crossword Team is getting stronger and stronger year after year. I really love to work with this group of creatives and they came up with copies and layouts for this fun public transportation campaign. My contribute was creating this family of quirky characters that have been also animated by Lorenzo Fonda. You can find them on my “Moving” website section.
In Autumn 2018 I partnered again together with Lorenzo Fonda on this animation for NYTimes crosswords department. The creative director asked for something isometric that is quite unusual for me. This one is the header that is now being used in the membership area of the Crosswords section and as printed advertising for they App. Lot of fun, lot of jokes, lot of vectors, lot of work! Featuring a cameo of Will Shortz!
Again partnered with my fav animator, Lorenzo Fonda. A serie of funny GIFS and illustrations for The New York Times.
You can still get your whistling t-shirt on the New York Times Crosswords store! I'm deeply in love with every little character I designed for the new brand identity we launched since 2017, and this jazzy cross-world keeps growing! More to come ... Thanks to Joshny Chuck and every member of the New York Times crosswords design team!
